Where is ELECTROTHERAPY applied:

  • Sports injuries and post-traumatic conditions, distortions or distensions of joints, contusions or ruptures of muscles.
  • Fractures of bones and joints
  • Neuralgia, radiculopathy, neuropathy
  • Conditions after injuries, peripheral nerves
  • Neurological conditions (paraplegia, hemiplegia, quadriplegia, head injuries).

TECAR THERAPY

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF TEKAR THERAPY

ULTRASOUND (UZ)

Ultrasound therapy is the application of sound waves for therapeutic purposes.

The basic principle of action is mechanical action. It consists of high-frequency wave motion of sound waves that lead to mechanical vibration of tissue particles, and thus to tissue micromassage.

Other actions are:

  • Vasodilation (dilation of blood vessels)
  • Analgesic (pain reduction)
  • Anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory)
  • Antiedematous (against swelling)
  • Spasmolytic (reduces muscle spasm)
  • Fibrinolytic (reduces scarring)
  • Increases motor nerve irritability

 

Contraindications to ultrasound:

  • Vein thrombosis

 

MAGNETOTHERAPY

One form of physical therapy, it uses electromagnetic energy fields in various diseases.
The method itself is effective, safe and non-invasive. Leads to stimulation tissue after damage.
The advantage of magnetotherapy over other therapies is that it can also be applied to patients where metal is present in the tissue – after surgery, where an artificial hip or knee is implanted, or after the implantation of metal rods on long bones.

Indications for the use of magnetotherapy:

  • Cervical (lumbar), lumbar syndrome
  • Rehabilitation after delayed wound healing, contracture, neuralgia, peripheral circulation disorder, pressure ulcer
  • Treatment of rheumatic diseases, degenerative and inflammatory processes in the joints, osteoporosis, extraarticular rheumatism

LASER THERAPY

It represents the therapeutic application of lasers in patients who are indicated for such therapy.

When it comes to laser, it is important to point out that the therapy is painless, it is applied either to acupuncture points, or to sore points, alone treatment does not last long, depending on the condition in which it is applied.

The approximate treatment time is 5-15 minutes. The application can be contact and non-contact (depending on the type of disease).

Conditions where application is indicated:

  • Inflammation (inflammation) of bones and soft tissues (rheumatoid) arthritis, bursitis, tendosynovitis)
