Coxarthrosis is a degenerative disease of the joint or more precisely the cartilage of the hip joint, which can lead to changes in the bones, as well as in the capsule.

The most common symptom that a patient feels is pain, which is mostly manifested first at the level of the groin of the affected hip, then it can be felt at the level of the thigh, l / s of the spine, this condition is often called osteoarthritis.

The first and basic symptom for coxarthrosis is pain that occurs when walking, pain occurs mainly in the groin, then it can be in the gluteal (sitting) zone, as well as in the knee level, the manifestation of pain at the knee level can often be on the medial (internal) side of the knee. Over time, there is a short-term stiffness when getting up, limited range of motion during internal rotation of the leg, difficulty when putting on shoes. Due to the longer duration of the disease, there is atrophy (weakness) of the muscles, as well as an apparent shortening of the leg. If there is a complete wear of the cartilage, practically until its disappearance (this can be seen on the X-ray image), it leads to the deformation of the head of the femur, or the neck of the femur, which is a condition that requires surgical intervention.

The cause of coxarthrosis is not sufficiently known, as in other degenerative joint diseases, a large number of studies on this topic are being done in the world, but the cause is not yet completely clear, we will list some of those that are considered to have an impact. :

  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Tissue aging
  • External factors
  • The following factors

A distinction should be made between primary and secondary coxarthrosis

  • Primary weakness of cartilage, its cause has not been determined.
  • Secondary to normal cartilage, there is an overload due to injury, some congenital deformity in the joint, inflammation and the like.

Depending on the stage of the disease in which the patient comes to us, as well as on the clinical picture itself, whether he suffers from some other diseases, we apply therapy. Our approach is completely individual, there is no universal therapy.

We will list some of the forms we use:

  • Electrotherapy
  • Laser therapy
  • Magnetotherapy
  • Kinesitherapy (exercises)
  • Chiropractic
  • Manual non-invasive method
  • Mesotherapy pain

In case none of the procedures can help the patient, we refer him to surgical treatment, ie to the installation of a new hip.

What is interesting to emphasize is that our technique MANUAL NON-INVASIVE METHOD gives excellent results, but after the first treatment (if the method is indicative), according to our statistics of 30% -40% pain reduction, it is necessary to do 4-6 treatments.

We are at your disposal for any additional questions,

which I believe.
